Amigos Library Services Delivers Digitization Solutions Through a Partnership with Olive Software
Olive’s state of the art digitization and archiving solutions preserve historical heritage
Denver, Colorado, September 3, 2008 – Amigos Library Services signs a partnership agreement with Olive Software. Now, the not-for-profit organization will be able to bring its members leading newspaper preservation and archiving solutions.
In light of increasing interest in historical materials preservation and the growing demand for instant online access to the primary source documents, many libraries and universities are making the investment in preserving their valuable assets for posterity. The new partnership agreement represents a commitment on behalf of both organizations to deliver state of the art, fully text searchable archives to quench users’ thirst for knowledge and to preserve information in an open XML format to ensure its longevity.
