MICROSOFT SELECTS OLIVE SOFTWARE FOR INCLUSION IN INNOVATION BOOK
SANTA CLARA, California, September 25, 2006 - Microsoft selected Olive Software for inclusion in its annual Microsoft Innovation Book titled Innovation Starts Here. The Microsoft Emerging Business Team recognized Olive for its ability to bring order and accessibility to information stored in various document formats across the enterprise. Olive was chosen from among thousands of companies reviewed worldwide.
Microsoft's Innovation Book provides an in-depth look at how emerging companies have partnered with Microsoft to increase revenue, reduce costs, and gain a competitive edge. For example, Olive's Viewpoint application, a solution based on Windows 2003 server architecture, is a great example of the symbiotic relationship that culminated in a multi-format document repository. The book highlights twenty five corporations that create some of the most innovative solutions for real business problems. Olive is proud to be recognized for enabling its customers to have a unified platform for searching information in paper files, microfilm, and microfiche, as well as electronic formats such as Microsoft Office documents and PDF files. It delivers this capability using extensive image recognition, content extraction, automated tagging, and XML technologies.
"Our team of dedicated engineers and sales professionals is pleased to offer joint solutions with Microsoft to ensure the longevity of the digital future", Yuval Rachmilevitz, President and CEO, Olive Software commented on the publication.
