'InformationWeek' to boost circulation with 60,000 digital subscribers

Boston-InformationWeek will add 60,000 digital subscribers to its circulation base on Oct. 3, Publisher Scott Vaughn told BtoB's Media Business. The last time the CMP Media IT title expanded its circulation base was 3Ѕ years ago, when it grew from 400,000 to 440,000 print subscribers, Vaughn said. For its digital editions, InformationWeek will use Olive Software's XML-based platform, which Vaughn said provides critical features, including offline caching, forwarding, printing and the ability to animate both editorial and advertising content. In related news, InformationWeek's Monday issue shows off a redesign, which Vaughn said manifests an evolved role for the print title as a "guide and filter" to other InformationWeek editorial assets, specifically its online and event properties.
